I’m a 27-year-old Design Manager/Senior Graphic Designer with over 6 years’ experience. I am currently working for a highly successful design team for a regional publishing company based in Kent, overseeing advertising, branding, editorial and web. On a monthly basis I work with approximately 270 clients.
My role consists of the departmental management of a small design team, recruitment, training and developing junior designers. My job also relies heavily on client liaison to create and develop a concept to fit individual needs, but I also spend a lot of time working practically with page layout, image manipulation, and colour management.
I have extensive knowledge of Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and also knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, and FTP software. I have a strong eye for detail, and a love for design. I have a very close relationship with printers and HTML coders, so understand limitations of my media, and enjoy finding solutions to achieve original and exciting work.
Although I work primarily from scratch, some projects involve corporate guidelines, and I feel just as confident working in this way. I have worked on projects for the Royal Shakespeare Company,
